FAQ For SLT 4 Friends Package
 
1. What is "SLT 4 Friends" package?

"SLT 4 Friends" allows SLT customer to add up to FOUR of his most frequently used contact telephone number to this "SLT 4 Friends" list.
 
2. What type of customers can get this package?

All SLT Megaline and Citylink (Business, Residential customers and V talk) customers are entitle to this package. Initiator should be the Legal owner of the telephone.
 
3. Is this service available for both SLT Pre paid and Post paid customers?

No. Only SLT Post paid customer can obtain the package.
 
4. How does the customer nominate "SLT 4 Friends" telephone numbers?

Each "SLT 4 Friends" telephone number list can contain a maximum of FOUR numbers. This will be a combination of either,
Option 01
  • Maximum of four SLT numbers

  • or

    Option 02
  • at least two SLT numbers and two any other network numbers.

  • SLT 4 Friends - Number combination

    Option 01
    SLT SLT SLT SLT
    Option 02
    SLT SLT Other Network Other Network
     
    5. What are the charges for "SLT 4 Friends" package?

    Rental & Other charges
    Initiation Charge (One Time) Rs. 100/=
    Monthly rental Rs. 50/=
     
    6. What are the special benefits of the package?

    "SLT 4 Friends" package owner (initiator) can call the list members at at a discounted rate. (But the list members will not receive the discounted rate when they call the list initiator.)

    Call Charges Day Night
    SLT 1.00 0.50
    Any Other 2.00 0.50
    Startup fee of Rs. 1.50 is applicable.

    Time Bands
    Day Time Everyday - 0500 hrs to 2100 hrs
    Night Time Everyday - 2100 hrs - 2400 hrs and 0000 hrs - 0500 hrs

    1. The above charges are exclusive of taxes
    2. Calls will be billed on per second basis
     
    7. How does customer activate the "SLT 4 Friends" Package

    By filling an application and handing over to any CSU or Teleshop
     
    8. Does customer can nominate or change the numbers for "SLT 4 Friends" in advance?

    No. Not allowed for future date nominations/number change (except next working day). Hence, all should be the immediate number nominations or changes.
     
    9. How many times a customer can change the "SLT 4 Friends" designated numbers?

    Customer can change the activated numbers only FOUR times within one biiling month.
     
    10. What are the charges applicable for changing "SLT 4 Friends" numbers?

    For each and every number change, Rs.25/= will be charged from the customer.
    (It can be charged maximum of Rs. 100 (25x4)) as the number change fee within one billing month period)
     
    11. Is it possible to nominate IDD numbers for "SLT 4 Friends"?

    No. Customer can nominate Four LOCAL numbers only. Short codes are also not allowed.
     
    12. Can customer obtain the multiple subscriptions of "SLT 4 Friends"?

    Yes. (i.e. If a customer has two lines, 4 nominated numbers can be activated for each number. Then total will be 8 nominated numbers)
     
    13. How does the customer deactivate the "SLT 4 Friends" package?

    Customer has to produce the deactivate request letter to relevant Teleshop or RTOM office.
     
    14. How does the customer get the telephone bill for "SLT 4 Friends" package

    "SLT 4 Friends" usage will be added to the normal SLT monthly bill.
     
    15. Does customer needs to pay the "SLT 4 Friends" service rental if bar the outgoing facility temporarily?

    Yes, customer has to pay the "SLT 4 Friends" rental as usual.
     
    16. Are there any conditions will be applied when customer request for obtaining the "SLT 4 Friends"?

    Yes.
    • The customer's account should be in an active state to initiate a request for "SLT 4 Friends" package.
    • This option is available on a per account basis to all Postpaid customers excluding customer who have,
      • Public Payphone lines
      • ISDN lines
      • Temporary lines
