Auto-attendant
The Auto-attendant serves as an automated receptionist that answers the phone and provides a personalized message to callers with options for connecting to the operator, Dialling by name (last and first) or extension, or connecting to up to six configurable extensions (for example, 1 = Marketing, 2 = Sales, and so on). Auto Attendant configuration is done via the Group web interface also allows for hours of operation to be modified, with different options available for hours that the company is open or closed. The hours of operation can be configured to be different for different days of the week or for specific dates (for example, recurring holidays).
Auto-attendant provides enterprises with a powerful and customizable service to field inbound calls and deliver them to their intended destinations through interactions with the caller. The following are capabilities of the Auto-attendant service:
