In terms of Sec. 9 (iv) (6) of the Colombo Stock Exchange’s disclosure
requirements, we write to inform you of the followings;
Mr. Mitsuhiro Takase, a nominee of NTT Communication Corporation, Japan on
the Board of Sri Lanka Telecom Ltd., has resigned with effect from 17th June
2004.
Mr. Anil Obeysekera, Attorney-at-law, President’s Counsel and Mr. Nigel
Hatch, Attorney-at-law, President’s counsel were appointed as nominees of
Government of Sri Lanka to the Board of Sri Lanka Telecom Ltd., with effect
from 25th June 2004 in place of Mrs. M A R C Cooray and Mr. K C Logeswaran
who resigned from the Board.
