In terms of Section 9 (iv) 6 of the Corporate Disclosure Rules of the CSE, we write to
inform the market that in terms of the Article 97 of the Articles of Association of the
Company the following nominees of Global Telecommunications Holdings N.V. were
appointed to the Board effective from 05th June '08 to fill the vacancies created by the
resignation of the NTT Com nominee directors pursuant to the acquisition by Global
Telecommunications Holdings N.V. 35.19% stake held by NTT in Sri Lanka Telecom
PLC.
Newly appointed directors are;
