Mobitel (Private) Limited is a defendant against a law suit
to the value of Rs. 2 million. As per legal opinion the outcome
of this is uncertain and the Directors of the Company believe
based on the information currently available, that the ultimate
resolution of such legal procedures would not likely have a
material adverse effect on the results of operation, financial
position or liquidity. Accordingly, no provision for any liability
has been made in these financial statements

A draft bill of the Vishwa Grama Fund is presently being considered
by Parliament to impose a levy on the Company. Pending the enactment
of the bill the financial statements for the year ended 31 December
2003 do not include a provision in respect for the contribution.
Accordingly, no provision for liability has been made in these
financial statements.
