With the increase of Covid-19 cases, hospitals across the country have become critical centres to test, treat and care for patients who are in need. As such, SLT-MOBITEL has donated the third PCR machine to the Kotalawala Defence University Hospital (KDUH) recently. The Rs 5.2 million worth donation is a part of the company’s ‘Sabandiyawe Sathakaraya’ CSR initiative in helping the nation’s healthcare systems and communities in need.

Previously, PCR machines were handed over to the Base Hospital, Karawanella and the  District General Hospital, Matale. SLT-MOBITEL appreciates the support received from all Sri Lankans towards ‘Daana Paaramitha’ which was conceptualized as a platform to further increase community involvement in carrying out relief efforts to support families affected by the pandemic.
