SLT-MOBITEL, achieved a 49.2% year-on-year growth of Profit After Tax (PAT) in Q3 2021, posting Rs. 3.2 Bn in PAT, reiterating consumer confidence in the National ICT Solutions Provider. The commitment to cost consolidation across verticals combined with the group-wide undertaking to minimise waste, convert waste to cash and manage OPEX costs, resulted in savings over the year and is reflected in the year-on-year bottom-line and continued dividend payments.

SLT Group Topline Surpasses Rs. 100 billion, Recording Rs. 12.2 billion Profit After Taxes.

Colombo, February 17th , 2022 - Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (SLT) Group, the National ICT Solutions Provider, concluded the financial year 2021 on a high note, recording a turnover of Rs. 102.3 Bn for the year ended December 31, 2021 marking a topline growth of 12.3% year-on-year. The Group’s sustained growth resulted in a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 12.2 Bn, a growth of 54.3% as compared to the previous year.

SLT-MOBITEL Annual Report 2020 wins another prestigious honour.

The Sri Lanka Telecom Annual Report 2020 won another prestigious honour recently, when it was recognized at the South Asian Federation of Accountant (SAFA) Best presented Annual Reports Awards, Integrated Reporting Awards and SAARC Anniversary awards for Corporate Governance Disclosure 2020 competition. The Report won the main award in the ‘Communication and Information Technology sector’ category.

SLT denies reports of Asset Sale

The management of SLT-MOBITEL, categorically denies the recent speculations and reports of a possible sale of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) assets.

The company states that these reports have not been clarified from the SLT Board of Directors or the Secretary to the Treasury, being the entity that holds 49.5% of its shares.

SLT reassures its shareholders, customers and employees that such a decision has not been considered and it is committed to continue operations as is.
