SLT Manudam Paramitha programme conducted on Navam full moon Poya day

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) successfully concluded the first SLT Manudam Paramitha programme for the year 2016 in collaboration with Swarnawahini’s Amadahara programme on the Navam full moon Poya day which fell on Monday, 22nd February 2016.

The programme was held at the Sri Suramyarama Purana Rajamaha Viharaya in Rajagiriya. During the programme, SLT donated library books on a range of subjects to three schools in the area, namely: Hewawitharana College Rajagiriya, President’s Girls’ College Rajagiriya and Kotahena Central College. Further, 100 selected school children were given school bags as well as essential stationary and other items, as well as medicinal / fruit saplings. The items were presented to the children by Mr. Mohan Padmaperuma, CTDO.

To mark the first SLT Manudam Paramitha programme for the year, a sandun sapling was planted by the Chief Incumbant of the Sri Suramyarama Purana Rajamaha Viharaya, Dodamgolle Pangnananda Thero. SLT will be continuing these programmes every poya day.
